Backstory:

Lance joined Foundry in 2018 and brings a unique, real-world perspective to the mats at Foundry, by having over 10 years of experience in the private security sector. He has competed in and won tournaments in the past. However, he specializes in the practical application of Jiu Jitsu for the street.

Lance operated in environments where physical de-escalation and control were matters of professional necessity. His years in the security industry while working alongside law enforcement and routinely subduing and apprehending combative criminals, have deeply influenced his approach as a Brown Belt instructor.

An addition to his participation as in instructor, Lance also handles facility operations and I.T. functions at Foundry.
